Why is my data collected?

Which data is collected and what happens to it?
Personal data such as surname, first name, street and house number, postal code, place of residence, date of birth, language, nationality, gender, e-mail address, telephone numbers, allergies or meal requests are only stored by us if their details are required and necessary to provide the requested services. This occurs when you request an offer from us, want to inform yourself about our products via our contact forms, order a catalogue, subscribe to our newsletter or book a trip.
Where will my data be processed?
Your data will be processed by Sprachcaffe in the European Union. To the extent permitted by law, data processing also takes place in other European countries. The transfer of personal data to the relevant service providers (e.g. airlines, language schools, host families, insurance companies, hotel operators or carers) in the relevant third countries is necessary in order to fulfill the contractual agreements made with you.
Will my data be passed on to third parties?
Once you have decided to book with Sprachcaffe, your data will be passed on to the necessary service providers such as airlines, language schools, host families, insurance companies, hotel operators or carers as well as to units within the Sprachcaffe organisation. We also pass on your data to the shipping company responsible for delivery if this is necessary to send documents, emails or catalogues. In order to process payments, we pass on the necessary payment data to the bank commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the payment service selected by you in the ordering process.
Can I get information about my stored data?
You can request information free of charge about the scope, origin and recipients of the stored personal data as well as the purpose of storage, request the correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of your data. Please send your request in writing to the address below.
How long will my data be stored?
Your data will be stored in accordance with the travel, tax and commercial law regulations of the legislator. This is done in order to be able to check any claims made by third parties that may have been filed and in order to meet our obligations to provide information.
What is 'Conversion Tracking' and how is it used?
If you have reached our website via a Google ad, an affiliate ad or an e-mail, Google AdWords will store a cookie on your computer. It is not possible to deduce your identity.The information collected using the conversion cookie is used by us to generate statistics about our conversion rate.
