GTC for Sprachcaffe Munich and GTC for the Telc exam
1. Registration and Contract Duration
Registration is binding for the specified number of months, weeks, or hours. All prices quoted are per person.
2. Contract Renewal and Cancellation
At the end of the agreed period, you do not need to register again, as your course will automatically be renewed from month to month unless we receive written notice of cancellation.
If you do not wish to continue attending the course after the agreed period, please remember to cancel your registration. The notice period is one month.
No cancellation is required for intensive courses or private lessons.
Cancellation fees are as follows:
- Up to 30 days before the course starts: 25% of the course fee
- Up to 15 days before the course starts: 50% of the course fee
- Less than 15 days before the course starts: 90% of the course fee
3. Course Information
One course month consists of 4 teaching weeks. One lesson lasts 45 minutes. All prices quoted are per person.
4. Missed Lessons and Course Interruption
Missed lessons cannot be made up.
Students who are away on holiday for more than two weeks may apply to the school to temporarily suspend their ongoing course and resume it upon their return.
The request must be submitted in writing at least two weeks before the start of the holiday.
The school reserves the right to approve or decline the request depending on course organization and availability.
An approved course interruption cannot be counted towards the notice period for cancellation.
5. Cancellation of Private Lessons
Appointments for private lessons must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. Otherwise, the lesson will be charged in full.
6. Minimum Number of Participants for Intensive Courses
If, in exceptional cases, the minimum number of participants for an intensive course is not reached, Sprachcaffe Munich will still run the course. However, the total number of weekly lessons will be reduced according to the number of participants.

In all cases, this represents an upgrade in teaching quality at no additional cost to the participants.
7. Notice Regarding On-site and Online Courses
In connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, Sprachcaffe reserves the right to conduct language courses booked as on-site courses online if the public health situation deteriorates.
Participants are not entitled to a refund of the course fees in such cases.
General Terms and Conditions for Telc examinations at Sprachcaffe Munich
1. Registration and Payment
After registration, the examination fee must be transferred to the bank account of Sprachcaffe Munich within 3 days.
Registration becomes binding only after payment has been received.
Registration must be completed no later than 17 days before the examination date.
2. Withdrawal from the Examination
Withdrawal from the examination is only possible if written notice is given at least 17 days before the examination date and a replacement participant is found who can attend the booked examination.
An administration fee of EUR 60.00 will be charged for the transfer.
3. Failure to Attend
No refund of the examination fee will be granted if the participant fails to attend the examination.
4. Rescheduling Due to Illness
If a participant is unable to attend the examination due to illness, a medical certificate must be submitted no later than the day of the examination.
In this case, the examination may be rescheduled to a later date.
A processing fee of EUR 60.00 will be charged for the rescheduling.
5. Examination Invitation
Approximately 7 days before the examination, you will receive an invitation by email containing the examination venue and starting time.
If you do not receive this invitation, please contact us immediately.
6. Conditions of Participation and Jurisdiction
By registering for the exam, the participant accepts the General Terms and Conditions of Particip ation and the Privacy Policy. This agreement shall be governed by German law.
The place of jurisdiction is Munich.
7. Minimum Number of Participants for telc Examinations
A minimum of four participants is required for a telc German examination to take place.
If this minimum number has not been reached by the registration deadline, we reserve the right to cancel the examination.
In the event of cancellation due to an insufficient number of participants, all registered participants will be informed no later than 10 working days before the scheduled examination date.
Any examination fees already paid will either be refunded in full or, at the participant's request, credited towards a later examination date.
Withdrawal Policy
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days from the date the contract was concluded, without giving any reason.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail).
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal. Unless expressly agreed otherwise with you, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction. You will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us an amount proportionate to the services already provided up to the time you informed us of the exercise of your right of withdrawal, in comparison with the full scope of the services covered by the contract.
