What type of teacher are you?
I'm actually more of a friend than a teacher. I'm open and funny, but also clear and firm.
Why do you teach German?
I teach German because I love the language and know exactly where the problems are when it comes to learning.
What is important to you in the classroom?
A good atmosphere, clear communication and full attention from the students are the key to successful learning.
What does a typical lesson look like for you?
It very much depends on the level and group I'm teaching. But it's typical for every lesson that we start together, just like I do with friends when I meet them: we talk about our experiences, what happened and how we're doing. It's always a combination of seriousness and fun, a mix of work and pleasure. My lessons are varied and - I hope - not boring!
Do you have any tips for your students?
Yes. Don't be afraid to speak, have the confidence to communicate and always remain friendly, and you'll get the same back!
Luca

What does a typical lesson look like for you?
In my lessons, the focus is on the student. All participants are given equal attention so that their potential can unfold. I use authentic materials from everyday German life (TV programs, radio broadcasts, newspaper articles, etc.) to give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the German language and improve their communication skills.
