What is Telc and who can take a German Telc exam?
Telc (The European Language Certificates) is a recognised language certificate that certifies your language skills in various languages. How long does a German Telc preparation course last and what is the content?
Our preparation courses usually last three weeks. It is possible to book group preparation courses or private preparation. The group preparation courses take place twice a week in person or online and cost €190.

How are the preparation courses structured (e.g. written, oral) and what materials are used?
The German Telc exams consist of an oral and a written part. Our preparation courses therefore include both written and oral exam formats. We also simulate exam situations to prepare you in the best possible way. To do this, we use carefully selected Telc textbooks and practice materials that are optimised for the exam requirements.
What is the best way to prepare for the German Telc exam?
In our German Telc preparation courses, we practise the exam formats together so that you feel well prepared for the exam. We also recommend that you practise regularly at home. The more confident you feel, the better your chances of success.
Is a minimum number of participants required for the German Telc preparation course?
As a rule, a minimum number of 3 to 4 participants per preparation course is required to offer the course. As we offer many preparation courses in presence as well as online, you don't need to worry, we will find the right course for you!
Can I take the German Telc exam without a preparation course?
Yes, you can also book the German Telc exam with us without a preparation course. However, we recommend that you attend a preparation course as this will tell you exactly what to expect in the exam. This will significantly increase your chances of success.
When do the German Telc preparation courses take place and how can I register?
Our Telc preparation courses for German always start three weeks before the Telc exam. You can find the current exam dates on our TELC website. You can register for our preparation courses either via the website or by telephone.
I didn't pass the German Telc exam, what now?
The German Telc exam consists of an oral and a written part. If you fail one of the two parts, you have the opportunity to retake it. However, if you fail both parts, you will have to take the entire German Telc exam again.
